“Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.”
-Oscar Wilde
I wonder,
Do raindrops have different shapes like snowflakes?
I wonder,
How do the color of flowers sometimes look different,
if they come from the same root?
I ask these questions because I wonder,
Why do people want you to change so much?
I think improvement is great for everyone.
Changing a negative into a positive.
But…
If I am someone that is quiet, why force me to talk?
If I am someone who don’t like chicken, why tell me to try it?
If I’m not who you think I should be, why should I change for you?
If who I am as a person isn’t,
Harming anyone or myself, a hinderance to society, affecting you or anyone elses’ life,
Why should I change?
Why should I be like how you want me to be?
Everyone has their own personality.
I am not bubbly, whatsoever.
I don’t show enthuasium over things easily.
Why should I change because you do those things?
I am not you.
I am different.
Accept it.
Just like I accept that you’re a happily, bubbly you.
I am me.
Me am I.
